Dr. Willy Mutunga is Chief Justice of Kenya since June 2011. He is a lawyer, intellectual, and reform activist and was co-founder of the Kenya Human Rights Commission. Among numerous publications he is the author of ‘Constitution-making from the Middle. Civil Society and Transition Politics in Kenya 1992–1997’ (SAREAT Nairobi 1999).
