The idea of interprofessionality is illustrated in relation to the reform of health educations. Interprofessionality is discussed: What it is, what it isn’t, and how to consider interprofessionality during education in clinical practice. The conclusion is that if interprofessionality has to be considered during education a kind of social, professional and educational community in which more professions are educated and work together, must be created.
Attention is called to interprofesional students’ learning units as a possible structure for such communities and the argumentation is that it is a didactic construction.
