Thorey Sigthorsdottir holds an MA in Advanced Theatre Practice from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She has worked as an actor, voice teacher and director for many years, both at the City Theatre, the National Theatre and with independent theatre groups in Iceland and Finland. For five years she taught drama at Austurbæjarskoli (6–15 year olds). She also established the theatre group Flying Fishes in 1997, with whom she directed Lungs by Duncan Macmillan at Theatre Idnó in Reykjavík with great success in 2017. In addition, Thorey is an accredited Nadine George Voice Work teacher. She has researched the voice as a tool for directors and as a creative resource. In relation to this, she has published a handbook for drama teachers, Play Expression Creation (2009/2020), with a special chapter on the voice. She also received an MA in Applied Culture and Communication from the University of Iceland.

Susanna Metsälä has worked as a drama teacher at Vaskivuori Highschool for almost 15 years. During this time, she has developed different methods for teaching theatre as well as producing musicals and plays with the students. Prior to this position she worked as a freelance director and drama teacher. She holds an MA in theatre pedagogics from Teaterhögskolan in Helsingfors, as well as a candidate exam from Exeter University. At the beginning of this year she became the chairman of FIDEA (The Finnish Drama/Theatre Education Association).
