SammendragThis article uses the concepts of Cosmic War and Zero-sum identity as analytical tools to discuss the function of Christian dispensationalists discourse related to the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians. Further, the article claims that in order for transnational Christian and other religious discourses to help constructing hope instead of hopelessness, they ought to be more reluctant in analyzing this conflict in symbolic and mythological paradigms, and instead introduce ethical and contextual perspectives.
